Pros & Cons

  • Very engaged, caring for each other, make me be more responsible, my place to learn and explore about HR things, and many more!
  • Work-life balance
  • Supportive team members, appreciativeness, good place to improve skills
  • Opportunity to grow and learn as much as I could
  • I have many privileges given which I can use to improve my skills and productivity.
  • I have been able to learn a lot of new things that related with my passion in marketing. Also, it was great to know new people/coworkers who experienced in their field.
  • Lack of information on onboarding stage
  • I think it will be very great if the company is able to provide free access for learning such as at least LinkedIn Learnings or Google Courses in order to improve employees skills so they can serve higher quality works and explore new things. Also, an access for borrowing notebook sounds great since mine was already in the bad condition.

I was told that there are possibilities to be a full-time software engineer. So, you only need to perform well in your role if you want a full-time job. That's the only what it takes to move up the rank.

Culture

Culture
The culture is very agile, yet the seniors are very open and humble when giving ideas or directions to the interns, especially when I feel confused. They also don't hesitate for joking around with the interns which makes me thinks that there's not a big gap between us and I feel comfortable interacting with all team members.

My mentor is such a talented person. He is a great and hard-worker in his role. He is doing a great job and knows what he's doing. At the same time, he has a good personality. He can teach and tell me what to do with my task. He drag me to the right path if it is wrong with my completed task. If there is a problem, he has no doubt to explain the right one.

Recruitment
The interview process at Payfazz is the second most humble interview i've ever done. The interviewer was so nice and at that time I just feel like I was talking with an old friend. There's no such pressure or intimidating situations.

During the first onboarding period, The mentors described how the (backend) system work overall. Being an intern here has introduced me to tools I didn't know before and its implementation here.
